Why AAHA?

As an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited clinic, our team of veterinarians and support staff adheres to the highest standards of facility and pet care. But you might have asked yourself, who is AAHA?

Standard of Excellence

Plain and simple, AAHA sets the standard of excellence in Veterinary Medicine.

The AAHA Standards of Accreditation are composed of 940 standards and 18 categories covering all areas of veterinary practice—from anesthesia and pain management to recordkeeping and client communication. AAHA’s practice consultants visit veterinary hospitals striving to earn or maintain their AAHA accreditation and evaluate them based on the AAHA Standards of Accreditation.

Heart of Better Care for Pets and Their People

Since 1933, everything AAHA has done was with one goal in mind: help veterinary professionals provide exceptional care for companion animals.

At Haines Road Animal Hospital, we believe in that goal of providing your pet with the same level medical care of medical care you would expect for yourself. https://www.youtube.com/embed/pSAc3yJqnAo?rel=0

AAHA’s practice consultants visit veterinary hospitals striving to earn or maintain their AAHA accreditation every three years and evaluates them based on the AAHA Standards of Accreditation.

AAHA-accredited practices are recognized among the best in the industry. In fact, only 15 percent of all small animal veterinary hospitals in the United States are accredited.

Accreditation is not a requirement for veterinary hospitals but it is an important part of providing the level of service that our clients and patients deserve.
