Sue Black

Hospital Administrator

Sue was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and since childhood she has always considered herself an animal lover. In 1996, she began working as a customer service representative and was quickly recognized for her operation and teaching skills. These qualities soon advanced her career, leading up to a Regional Operations Director role. During this time, she has been instrumental in developing hospital managers, giving them the tools necessary in leading their hospital team. She has also been instrumental in creating partnerships with several Humane Societies and Rescue Groups.

She now shares the tools and talents that will cultivate growth and empower her team by building relationships, trust, and good communication. These values embody Haines Road Animal Hospital’s Core Values and align with her personal goals. As a practice manager Sue’s why for veterinary medicine is from a different view point, as she enjoys watching pet’s bond with their owners. Thru working at Haines Road she has also been able to nurture a bond with all of her team to help them grow and that’s what motivates her to come to work everyday!

Sue is the proud mom of three girls. She enjoys the outdoors & water activities and spending time with her family. She shares her home with her 2 fur babies, “Drake” & “Ella”.
